Hey Robert,

I found your website while cruzin the net and wow! I have to say you are my new personal hero. I've been shooting for 7 years now and have been feeling that creativity killing blah of a Minnesota winter. I was looking for something that would re-light that creative spark, boy did I find it here. Your lighting and technique along with your great life insights make this a true jewel among blogs. I will be sure to tell all my Minnesota Homies about you and your awesome work.Really love the "Professional Killers" part of your website being a former 11H in the 101st.
Kick some sand on the beach for a fellow minnesotan and I'll kick the snow for you.

Peace

Don not know how fast really,it seems a low powered shot though.(the computer screeen is lit,the light is bright).Low powered shots like these you can even do with a small strobe and a fast pack. What strikes me though is the use of a Nikon...I thought she was a Canon user...but then again that was Annie...she can do what ever...

Interesting selection of videos, and thanks for sharing them.

I particularly liked the first one about the kite photography, and am thinking about dusting off some of my RC gear and making a rig....

Nice vids, thanks for linking! Current has some good stuff from time to time, I like the kind of non-news stories they get from the users, usually very interesting.

A merry Christmas to you!

Robert,

An excellent analysis. Perhaps you can include info on SellFolio 4.0 Complete, endorsed by Halden Krog, FujiFilm™ Photographer of the Year. SellFolio is $369.00, allows photographers to add folders of photos at one time, make them as large as they want, add video, create their own design or use/edit one of our very unique styles, link to any commerce system, and upload to their own hosting or our hosting, and burn them to a CD. We offer free support, no setup fee, and no subscription needed. Photographers can add their own metatags to help their search optimization. Thousands of photographers and other customers use SellFolio. A good example is available at http://www.imagesbymisty.viewwork.com/click_to_enter_images_by_misty_photography/sellfolio.html. And note, this one was made with our $49.99 SellFolio 4.0 Basic version! :-)

great shots, thanks for sharing your process.

I'd love to hear where you bought that knock off. I love the light this dishes give but I am such a remote market I don't even have rentals. So I have to buy everything and a cheap knock is where it's at!

NOW, here's the REAL question: Can you follow along in a game of cricket? I know I can't! Rent the movie Lagaan for the best explanation of the game, great movie!
